Grandma Dorothy Romero Gallegos Brown

Dorothy Romero Gallegos Brown 1930 ~ 2009 Dorothy Romero Gallegos Brown, 78, died on March 23, 2009 inMurray. She was born on April 7, 1930 in Vadito, NM to Abel Romero and Bernadita Miera. She married Joe E. Gallegos on Sept 15, 1947; he passed away on Feb 20, 1996. She was sealed to Joe in Sept. 1997 in the Salt Lake Temple. She later married Arvel Brown on Mar 22, 1997; he passed away on Jan. 30, 2009. Dorothy was a kind, gentle woman whose generosity of heart extended to everyone with whom she came in contact. Her greatest accomplishments were her family and posterity. She loved to crochet and to embroider and shared her talents with many. I know when its your time to go- its your time to go. No matter how you go it was your time- God needed you home. You have completed everything you are suppose to do in this world and you now fly off to Heaven. Ryan's Grandma Dorothy flew off to heaven last week. After a few really hard days she finally said goodbye to all of her family and went back to Heaven to be with her sweethearts!
Although it seems too soon I know that's me being selfish- She is in such a better place and surrounded by my idea of Heaven- sun shinning, birds singing, all the sonic slushes you can imagine, running on clouds and playing with all the loved ones that went before you.
The service was very nice- everyone shared amazing stories that brought laughs and tears.
I keep imagining Grandma Dorothy playing with my baby GIRL- I know she will keep her happy and healthy until I get her!

update

When I was a wee one I loved LONG NECKS (aka- giraffes) I thought it only appropriate my next little counter should have a long neck. Yes this is #3 on my blog... Depending on which one you look my count down is different... Whats up with that? I either have 123 or 124 days until July 22? Some body is trying to play a trick on me ;)
I have a feeling this lil GIRL is going to be a late one- She will come out when she wants and it will not fit into my schedule AT ALL! She will probably be just like I was. I just pray pray pray she is not breech like me... Sorry MOMI, I cant believe you kept me after all I put you through.

So names are still coming in and going out just as fast- right now we like:
Alexa Rye
Natalia
Cheyenne
I don't think I'm going to keep telling others the names we are thinking of because as soon as we find a name we really like and tell someone- either they don't like it and make sure we know why they don't like it or they make up some dumb nickname she will probably be called. Ill never find a perfect- no dumb nickname- totally unique and awesome- out of this world giving her a step up in life because she has a perfect name- name... This could possibly be the last time ill post any names we like- sorry it will be super secret and no one will know until the big unveiling! Ill throw a party and decorate a cake or something! You will all be invite (which means I would like some more presents/ JK...)

So in some not so good updating news-
Ryan's poor Grandma Dorothy had a stroke yesterday. She seems to be doing better today but is still in the hospital. She is just the sweetest most loving person I have ever meet. I love her so much so I just pray she continues to get better. One amazing thing about Ryan's family- They are a tight team. Everyone joints together and comes in from all over to be with one another. The waiting room at the hospital was far to small for us last night- I am so grateful to be in such a loving and supportive family!

Happy Happy first day of SPRING!

Ryan the Builder

Ryan can really make anything! I am always amazed at the things he can create and how amazing it looks once he is done. In high school he would tell me how he was consistently building speaker boxes- bigger than the last one of course-
He has built this amazing bar/shelf thing under our window out back, our garden boxes, he has made the metal rails for our bed, he made our bed, he has totally renovated our shed and made great shelving, he built this cute bench for under our window in the front room and that is just the beginning.

I have a few things I want him to build for the baby's room. The first thing is this adorable shelf. It will be great for storage for a few years then she can use it as a doll house!

The other thing is a large bench for under her window. This is not at all how the bench will look but I had to put up some kind of visual aid- It will be taller, longer and wider. I will make some cushions and pillows so I can have a nice relaxing place to feed the baby. Half the bench will be a toy box so it will have a lid on it to open and the other half will be shelves.

The other, but I'm sure not last, thing he is going to make are these awesome flower hooks. He can make pretty much anything out of metal- It wont look exactly like this but they will be pretty similar. Everything will be painted bright colors to match her bedding and the rest of her room decor.

I'm so excited to get everything made for her room and set up for this little GIRL!

21 weeks = carrot

21 Weeks!

Baby GIRL is as long as a carrot! She is rolling around in there and putting some good pressure on my tum tum. And that's the bella- lots bigger than the last picture- she sure is growing and im growing along with her! Baby GIRL please don't stretch Momi out to much!

MARCH?????

oh mr. sun... sun... mr. golden sun.. hiding behind a treeee... these little websters are asking you to please come out so we can play with you... oh mr. sun... sun.. mr. golden sun- please shine down on me!

Is is March or are we still in January. I should know by now winter in Utah means winter until April or even May but come on- day light savings and first day of spring should mean- SPRING! not snow! We still took advantage of the weather and enjoyed it as best we could...
well harley enjoyed it! I took a nasty spill this morning on my way into school-
can someone please lay some salt down on the icy side walks at 6:00 in the morning? i am pregnant you know :)

we still love you...

oh HARLEY- you have been so neglected since we found out about baby GIRL. Just know we still love you oh so much and even though we don't get the camera out near as much when your doing the cutest things we still notice them- most of the time. that is just part of what comes when your the oldest and another is on its way. i can tell you know changes are happening- certain rooms are now off limits and we keep bringing in new toys that you cant play with. there is also the fact I'm super moody and get super upset when i step on your sharp pointy toys that you leave in the middle of the room while i get up for the 10Th time to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. i know you don't mean to be so clueless so ill continue to forgive you. once summer comes that means lots more walks and camping trips. don't worry we wont lay off those to much this year even though there is a baby GIRL coming. you have to teach her the ropes to good hiking and camping skills and most important- she needs to learn how to swim! see you have lots more responsibilities coming up, you wont be forgotten or to neglected. we still need you!
please just be patient as we are still under construction for a few more months.

just a lil love for Ry and Bebe Grl

Dear: Ryan and My Baby Girl (sorry you are nameless)

(Song playing in the background)
Somethin' in your eyes, makes me wanna lose myself
Makes me wanna lose myself, in your arms
There's somethin' in your voice, makes my heart beat fast
Hope this feeling lasts, the rest of my life
If you knew how lonely my life has been
And how long I've been so alone
And if you knew how I wanted someone to come along
And change my life the way you've done
It feels like home to me, it feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where I come from
It feels like home to me, it feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where I belong
A window breaks, down a long, dark street
And a siren wails in the night
But I'm alright, 'cause I have you here with me
And I can almost see, through the dark there is light
Well, if you knew how much this moment means to me
And how long I've waited for your touch
And if you knew how happy you are making me
I never thought that I'd love anyone so much
It feels like home to me, it feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way the back where I come from
It feels like home to me, it feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where I belong
It feels like I'm all the way back where I belong

- Amazing how much love you can feel for someone and how every day that love can continue to grow. Thank you for giving me every last one of my hopes and dreams that I have wanted since I was little. You are what I prayed to God to one day give me!

DEFINITELY a GIRL

Last Thursday March 5 we had our official ultrasound! Its DEFINITELY a GIRL! She was not so modest and gave us some good shots so we were able to see there really is nothing there. She was doing some funny things on the sonogram. She would bring her hand up to her mouth and act like she was going to suck her thumb then just let it sit there- then she would throw it down and bring her toes up and suck on her toes! The lady stabbing me with the little wand was not only making her a little irritated but she was pissing me off. I had just drank 2 bottles of water and she was shoving that thing in me like she was trying to see my back (YES I ALMOST peed all over that dang table)... It was so amazing to just know she was growing good and was being active and moving all around in there. My Mom went to this ultrasound and I think she really enjoyed it. She has never been with anyone else in my family and never had one of her own like this so It was a fun experience.

Her Profile

Her profile with her mouth open

Her VERY strong heart rate!
After the Doc. apt I have been dieing to just feel her. Well I'm pretty sure I am- She is not so gentle. I think she said- okay Mom if you want to feel me your going to feel me. It seriously feels like me stomach is turning upside down! The doctor said that's really normal and she is probably doing just that- SOMERSAULTS! She is already a gymnast!
I am getting more and more excited about seeing and holding this little girl- I cant wait to see her little face and kiss her till she crys! I have been horrible with names- cant think of any I like. Ryan keeps coming up with really fun cute names that I like but I'm just not totally in love with yet. His favorites right now: Zoey, Brooklyn and Ciera (WITH A C)
We went shopping with Ryan's Grandma Dorothy on Saturday- She bought us the cutest crib! They should be getting it next week and I'm so excited to go pick it up. I want to get her room all set up and decorated but I'm waiting on the first step- PAINT! Ryan has been so busy lately we don't have time. He is helping my sister Kristianne right now remodel her bathroom. Thursday and Friday was spend in demolition mode! He has been doing an awesome job!

B-A-N-A-N-A

20 weeks = Half way done!

The last 20 weeks have sure been a whole different adventure in the Webster house. From crazy hormones to an unsettling tummy at all hours of the day and night. Sleepless/restless nights and cramps throughout the day. All in all- some of the best months of my life!

I have never loved my husband more than I do right now- I have never felt closer to him. Our patience for one another sure has been tested recently. I am not the most pleasant person to be living with and lets just say ANYTHING at any point can set me off :)
Thanks Babe for still loving me and playing with my hair when I cant sleep!

Here's our baby this week!

A BANANA!

Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. She's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel- the size of a BANANA.

She is still pretty little tiny but will keep growing and soon she will be a pumpkin!
